I am Diane Farris, sometimes known as Dianekamikaze. I express myself through a variety of media. I do a radio show on WFMU - check here for archives: http://wfmu.org/playlists/DK or listen on Thursdays Noon-3pm on wfmu.org. The work you see here may be motivated by music, maybe not! I am a retired tattoo artist, and after decades of drawing other people's ideas, I thought I'd like to see what came out of me when left to my own devices.

Additions, additions
Three more up today, many to go. I'm enjoying looking at these pieces, revisiting them, if you will. Some I remember exactly what I was feeling during the creation process, and many recall the process itself. Watercolor is deceptively difficult, the sheerness, the potency of some dyes, the texture, the WATER! Yay! After I get these posted I'm going to go paint some more. This is what comes out of me...
